Can Pure Bea Packaging be recycled?

100% of our packaging can be recycled.

1cal Spray bottles: the entire bottle including the spray nozzle & cap is made from PET plastic & can be recycled.

500ml bottles: both the glass bottles &metal caps can be recycled.

Are there any additives in Pure Bea Naturally Blended Oils?

Gums are used as thickeners and emulsifiers to improve the texture of a product, but they can also cause gastrointestinal side effects such as gas, bloating, gut inflammation and can even have an effect on your gut flora. Some emulsifiers will also cause a build-up of sticky residue on your pans.

Pure Bea Mellow & Light Naturally BlendedOils are free from any additives such as gums, other emulsifiers & thickeners, & aerosol propellant. They will resist residue build-up on your cookware as well as being better for your health.

Our 1cal Spray Mellow & Light Naturally Blended Oils are also ideal for greasing baking trays, frying pans, grills, griddles, cake tins, and baking sheets, preventing the food from sticking.

Why is a high smoke point important?

One of the most important things you'll want to consider when choosing an oil for cooking is its smoke point. The smoke point of an oil is the temperature at which the oil starts smoking (the first sign that the oil is breaking down). The higher the smoke point, the safer it will be to cook at high temperatures.

Some Cold Pressed Extra Virgin oils have a lower smoke point than Pure Oils. Each PureBea Mellow & Light Naturally Blended Oil is an expertly blended combination of a Cold Pressed Extra Virgin oil with a Pure Oil, resulting in a NaturallyBlended Oil that is suitable for high-heat cooking and deep-frying. You can enjoy a tasty veggie stir-fry or pan seared salmon, as well your favourite summer salad.
